William A. Levinson, P.E., F.A.S.Q., the principal of Levinson Productivity Systems, P.C., of Wilkes-Barre, and a long-time advocate of the application of quality management systems. Levinson?s presentation is entitled "Use ISO 9001:2015 to Reduce Health Care Costs and Improve Outcomes." He is the author of several books on quality, productivity and management, including the most recent, ?The Expanded and Annotated My Life and Work: Henry Ford's Universal Code for World-Class Success.?He will discuss the cost of waste in health care and the concept that medical errors, according to Levinson, are the third leading cause of death in the United States. He will address what makes the ISO 9001's systems perspective ideal for health care and how the clauses of ISO 9001:2015 can reduce or eliminate many medical mistakes
