Instructors place items on reserve at the library to provide students with supplemental materials for coursework. Placement of materials on reserve ensures access to frequently used materials that include journal articles, book chapters, and items from personal collections.
Traditional reserves include books, journal articles, DVDs, CDs and other pertinent materials to support classroom instruction. They are kept on the reserve shelf (behind the Circulation Desk), at the request of an instructor. Traditional items are expected to be in high demand, and therefore they have limited loan periods.
