Misericordia University's Health Professions Fair (HPF) will be held on Monday, September 26, in conjunction with National Health Professions Week (HPW) which runs from September 26 - 30, 2016. Health Professions Week is a free week-long event for high school and college students interested in learning more about careers in the health professions. Health Professions Week will include an online treasure hunt, community outreach events and two virtual fairs.
Health Professions Week will provide prospective students from across the country with multiple opportunities to explore 19 health professions so that they can identify the best career pathways for them. Students will learn about the roles and responsibilities of each profession, talk with health care practitioners and receive information about the educational requirements for each career.
As a proud participant in National Health Professions Week, 2016, Misericordia University will be hosting a Health Professions Fair (HPF) on Monday, September 26, to offer opportunities for students to learn more about its various health care programs and the respective professional fields. Prospective students will also have the option to tour campus and speak with Admissions representatives to gain a better understanding of admissions requirements and prerequisites. Indicative of Misericordia's commitment to experiential learning, CHSE students will also be present to discuss their current academic programs and share their experiences from service learning trips from around the world.
